And there were in those years strangers who saw the beauty of the Temple and did enter therein when all in the land did sleep and taketh away the things of beauty never to be seen again. And saeth the armed men of peace of the County of Pierce you must put guards at the Temple gates or all will be lost and so it came to be in the year 1979 the invisible guardians of the Temple were put into place to keep safe the treasures therein. And Coats of the families and Hutchinson of the ladies did lead.

And there was a fever in the land in the year 1980 and the fever was called "cut glass" and the ladies they did catch the fever and lead by Ristine they did chant we must have doors and windows of cut glass in the Temple and so it came to be that the families led by Barlow did go forward and cutters of glass were hired and the Temple was uplifted in rare glass designs and the ladies were cured and the fever was gone and all rejoiced in the beauty of the Temple and the dinners that progressed continued to progress from tent to tent.

In the year of 1981 the great teacher Vernon followed the calling of another and in his place came a teacher called Greg who had Bat at the feet of the prophet Vic and learned to stroke a Shepherds hook. And Greg brought to the flock large red hooks through which the swinging of all members became strong and players old and young prospered. In those days Gardner was the leader and McAllister of the ladies did lead the ladies to the Outhouse Bisque Tournament.

In the year 1982 Nealon of the families and Hutchinson of the ladies led the members into the Temple for an accounting and those that count proclaimed that the gold coins exceeded the debts and this was exceedingly good for such had not always been the proclamation. And the members rejoiced and took their gold coins and exchanged them for a hard black surface on that area reserved for the keeping of chariots. And it was reported that Craig of the family of Hamilton was known throughout the land as the first winner of the National NAIA Arthur Ashe Award and he brought honor to the club.

And in the year of 1983 reports came from all over the land that the prodigal sons of the families Pazourek, Gardner and Zeratsky continued to defeat the infidels from all other clubs. And the teacher Greg was exceedingly glad and the senior zeratsky did tell all who would listen of this truly great thing. And the families led by Hurd and the ladies led by Ervin went to the tent of Robbins where they did rejoice in the rain which came without end.

In the year 1984 the families were led by Hurd and the ladies by Bourdeau and it appeared to all who did see that the families were well pleased and the lamps were well trimmed and fit. There was in those days a movement in the land led by invaders who would steal away families in the night with promises of stronger bodies, faster feet and all manners of other temptations. Some families left the Temple to take up their racquets in other places and they were sorely missed. And the families they were fewer and it was not good.

And in 1985 the eyes of the people were opened and they looked about them and saw the Philistines had come among them and divided the land into tribes of seekers of good health and had lured away the children of the true tribe with their palaces of machines that build bodies, their pools of healing waters and their enclosures of games played with black balls and small racquets. And the Council of Wisemen gathered and planned how to defend against these invaders. And in those days the families were lead by Winters and Ervin spoke for the ladies.

And Thomas the Elder continued to lead the families in the silver year of 1987. A pool of healing water began to cure the people as they were sorely tired from the machines that build bodies and swinging small racquets at black balls and large racquets at yellow balls. And it was reported across the land that all who had come before senior Ginger Olesen and son Phillip had bowed down and they were known as the Champions of the National Equitable Life Mother/Son Competition. And so it came to pass on the 26th day of September that the families came together to the great Ball in the Temple and celebrated the year of Silver. And all rejoiced and said this is truly a club which shall be known throughout the land as good.

June 18, 1994 party. The following update was presented at the 32nd anniversary.

In the year 1988 as the Tribe had prospered with men and women speaking as one, the trible did elect Andrea Gernon, the first of the women, as chief of the council of Wiseones.
